Summer youth camps in beautiful Marin County California!
The staff at Marin Fencing Academy invites you to spend a summer week of fencing and fun at our academy. You'll have fun, meet other fencers of our age and ability, and learn/train in the oldest modern Olympic Sport. This is a very unique summer camp unlike all others.
All our coaches are USFA and Internationally certified "Maestros" and "Moniteurs". We provide all equipment (unless you have your own). We'll provide breakfast, and a day of light refreshments.
Our camps are Monday - Friday from 9am to 3pm. We have a 6000 square foot, state of the art fencing venue, electric strips, and audio/video capabilities, full internet access and easy parking. We're centrally locatd on famous Fourth Street in San Rafael, CA, a street made famous in George Luca' film American Grafitti. World class restaurants, art galleries, beaches, bike, and hiking trails are minutes away..

Price: $450. 50% deposit required. Remaining is due 2 weeks prior to camp. Full refunds available up to 2 weeks prior to camp.

 Maître Peter Burchard holds his fencing masters’ degrees from the Military Masters Program at San José State and USFCA. His forty plus years of experience and numerous competitors of international teams attest to his expertise. He is Regional Vice President of the US Fencing Coaches Association, as well as an international referee and FOC member. |
 Maestro Stuart Kaufman received his degree from the Italian Academy of Arms and is a Master of the Italian School of the Modern Sword. He is a close associate of his Maestro - Maestro Edoardo Mangerotti - the most decorated fencer of all times. |
 Moniteur D'Arms Mark Ongsitco received extensive training from American Fencing Master William O’Brien. Mark has coached MFA students currently competing in local, regional, and national events, including the Junior Olympics and summer nationals. |
