In February, 2009, the MFA added two additional class assistance to help in preparing, running, and breaking down all classes. This has helped the club tremendously. Strips are measured, taped down, and all electronic equipment in place before students arrive for class. During class, footwork, directing bouts, and general suport services are provided.

In addition to being on the MFA payroll, our assistants have amble time to fence, as well as to learn some elements of directing bouts, fixing equipment, and working toward certifications from the USFA and international affiliates.
